2001 Oldsmobile Aurora Coolant Tank

2001 Oldsmobile Aurora

Can't remove the coolant tank cap. Turned it counterclockwise about a quarter turn and then it won't go any farther and won't come off. How do I get it to come off?

Hi:
Does it turn like it's stripped? If so, remove the top of the cap (it's two parts). Then you will need to use channel locks to turn the base of the cap. The internal parts of the cap strip and don't work.
