Engine Performance problem
2004 Oldsmobile Alero 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP ON THE ABOVE VEHICLE WITH A NEW AFTERMARKET PUMP DUE TO MORNING COLD HARD START AND THE VEHICLE STILL DOING THE SAME THING. THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET IT STARTED EVERY MORNING IS TO USE STARTING FLUID AND IT WILL START RIGHT AWAY. ONCE YOU GET IT STARTED IT WILL START FINE EVERY TIME UNTIL I LET IT SIT OVERNIGHT THAN I HAVE TO USE STARTING FLUID AGAIN TO GET IT STARTED. ANY IDEAS OUT THERE?

Its most likey your fuel pressure regulator
They are a common failure on 3.1 and 3.4
Check the vac line going to the regulator for signs of fuel
