2003 Oldsmobile Alero heater blower motor

12/18/08 I just had the same problem on my 2003 Olds/alero 4 cyl automatic. It was the Blower Motor Resistor (Autozone part#DR774/$21.86). It's located behind the glovebox but it is not removed. Remove two screws (7/32) one on each side of a panel under dash. The resistor will be against the firewall in middle of were the panel was removed with two screws (7mm) holding resistor. Mine works fine now on all speeds. Not much room for both arms.
