2003 Oldsmobile Alero Brake lights stay on

Just wonderin what would cause the brake lights to stay on. They shut off when you lift up on the brake pedal, but are on all the time while driving

Hi there,

check for a broken brake pedal return spring or the brake light switch is out of adjustment, start here.

I didn't see a spring broke. I have been hearing that it could be a brake pressure switch i believe not exactly sure were that is located
