just changed my front struts, but i am hearing a lot of knocking when i hit bumps, any thoughts?

Did the sound just start since the struts were replaced? Were the strut plates replaced? Where the coils checked for cracks?

It was the same noise that i was hearing before i changed the struts, I just changed the strut mounting plate at the top of the struts and problem solved. The bushing in the old ones looked a little beat up.
