i installed a radio in this vehicle.... i accidentally touched two wires together... and now the tail lights and dash lights do not work.... i checked all the fuses and they are all good... what could this be.... is it a relay or something more serious?

most likely in line fuse has blown. you sure you checked all fuses and the in line fuses? BTW just looking at a fuse isn't considered testing it, you need to actually use a test meter on them to be sure.
