Hello,

The ABS light gets illuminated when the on-board diagnostics detects any fault within the ABS system. The traction control system works as a part of the ABS components and both light typically gets triggered due to an issue with one or the other.
This could be due to bad sensor, faulty wiring or a defective module.

Have the vehicle scanned to retrieve the trouble codes for the ABS. This can help with the diagnostics.
