I HAVE AN 200O ALERO, N MY GAS HAND DOESNT GO NO LOWER THAN THE NOTCH BEFORE FULL OR ITS CUTS OFF. SO IM CONSTANTLY PUTTING GAS IN IT, NO MORE THAN 5DOLLARS TO FILL MY TANK EVERDAY. SOMETIMES IT CUTS OFF SAYS NO FUEL N STARTS BACK UP AFTER A MINUTE. COULD U PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM

Hi:
It sounds like the fuel float may be bad. One problem. It's part of the fuel pump and in the fuel tank, so it's not a cheap repair.

That is where I would start checking.
