Hi, i just purchased a 1999 Olds Alero at an auction and there is a slight problem with the gas gage. The needle for the gas gage is beyond the full knob. I can not tell how much gas I have in the car. How do I fix it so the needle is in between the 2 knobs? Do I need to take the dash apart? Would I be able to do it myself without bringing it into a mechanic? Any simple ways to fix this?
Thanks!!

you can probably just take it apart, but see if you can find one from the salvage yard. and just remove the old one, there is just some screws holding the module in, like a frame.
