car makes growling whining type noise in front end. does not make noise when turning to the right. Would also like to know how to check transmission fluid on this type of trans. it doesn't have a dipstick.

If it stops when you turn right, chances are you have a bad wheel bearing on the right side because the weight if the vehicle shifts to the left of the vehicle.

As far as the trans, there is a bolt on the side of the trans that you need to remove to check the level.
