1997 Oldsmobile Achieva Turn Signal Flasher

My turn signals were working periodically but then would just stay on so I replaced the flasher. Now the signals appear to be working but the flasher makes a buzzing sound all the time, except when the turn signals or hazards are on. Did I replace the flasher improperly or is something else wrong?

It will only plug in one way, so I don't think you installed it wrong. Have you tried a different flasher? You may have just gotten a bad one.
