I need help! I have a 1996 Olds Achieva. I only have 1 car and its acting up.

I need this car to get back and forth to work. The car has a miss. I changed the fuel pump, changed the
spark plugs and still have the miss. Can anyone help or give me ideas what it can be?

When i start off or come to a stop it takes a sec seconds longer than it should to get up to speed. Once at 40 - 45 miles and hour I can stay there as long as I dont have to slow down or stop.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1.Defective spark plug
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
10.Throttle position sensor.
11.Idle air control valve.
