i need to know if the oil gauge is supose to stay at one spot wile the car is running or why would the check oil light turn on i just got a oil change like a week ago at buckeys

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure sending unit abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings-
