1996 Oldsmobile 98 Windshield Motors

Hi! My windshield motor runs but the wipers don't move. They move freely when you move them manually. I can hear the windshield motor running and feel the gears moving but no wiper action. Is the connection from the motor to the wiper blades under the hood or under the dash? Can you take that plastic vent cover off below the windshield on the outside to acess the wiper mechanism?

Hi:
Yes, you need to remove the cowl (the vent below the windshield) to access the linkage. It sounds like that is where you problem is.
