1996 Oldsmobile 98 Where is the blower motor resistor?

Air Conditioning problem
1996 Oldsmobile 98 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Is it under the hood or do I have to go under the dashboard on the passenger side? If someone has a picture it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

your vehicle's blower resistor assembly is on the right side of the engine compartment, in the blower housing, next to the firewall.

Ive looked and all I can find is the blower controller. Could it be that is all there is.

do you have the Auto A/C equipped or just the manual? it may be at the center rear of engine compartment if you have manual A/C. should have yellow, tan, light blue and dark blue wires running to it. if you have the Auto A/C then yes it will be the blower control module that controls the settings.
