1991 Oldsmobile 98 Front Wheel Drive

my car won't start with the key. But I can get it to start for a short period by jumping it from the starter solenoid. What could be my problem?

Possible causes could be the park and neutral position switch, ignition switch or wiring from the ignition switch thru the park and neutral switch to starter
