Proud owner of a 1987 Olds 98 handed down from my father. The car dies when letting of gas (coming to a stop, ect) and when the lights are on the lights surge when I let off the gas to come to a stop and then the car will die. I have replaced just everthing I can think of from, crank and cam sensors, throttle pos sen, idle control motor, plugs and wires. Just replaced the mass air flow on Nov 11,still did not help. Car runs great besides that. Please help. Thanks,Jeff

Welcome to the forum, thanks for the donation. Make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good, also, check the charging system. Are there any codes? Did you take the throttle-body off and clean it? Use a gage and check fuel pressure.
