Removal Procedure Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions. 1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2.Drain the coolant. 3.Remove the drive belt.

4.Remove the water pump pulley bolts. 5.Remove the water pump pulley. 6.Remove the water pump bolts. 7.Remove the water pump. 8.Clean the gasket mating surfaces. Installation Procedure 1.Using a new gasket, install the water pump on the engine. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2.Install the water pump bolts. **Tighten the bolts (1) to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) . **Tighten the bolts (2) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) . 3.Install the drive belt. 4.Fill the coolant. 5.Connect the negative battery cable. 6.Check for coolant leaks. https://www.2carpros.com/kpages/auto_repair_manuals_alldata.htm
