1998 Oldsmobile 88 heater motor

My heater motor sometimes doesn't run or runs slow. If you tap the heater motor under the hood it will run. If you mess with the controls it does't start. Is this A big Job? joannewald@cableone.net Rodd

Because your's is under the hood, it isn't nearly as bad as one under the dash. It is just a matter of unbolting the old one and replacing it.
