1998 Oldsmobile 88 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my 1998 delta 88 keeps dying on the road. after a few minutes it sometimes restarts. replaced fuel pump and ignition module still has problem. problem happens intermittently. any suggestions?

How does it die? Like somebody flipped a switch? Or does it gradually slow down till it dies. Check for applicable trouble codes. Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free. Also, an intermittent rpm signal will drive you crazy, just a possibility.
