Engine Performance problem

Hello carpros! I recently had my car in the shop because of the check engine light was on and the vehicle shuts off sometimes when I stop or in slow traffic. Well they did a tune up and said they changed the sensors. They put the car back on the diagnostic machine and they say no more codes were coming up, but the engine light is still on and the car is still shutting off! They told me that it might need a computer or it has an electrical problem. So I would like 2 know what ur opinion is before I go out and buy a new computer
