Hi
I gave my Olds to my daughter because it is such a dependable car. Since she got it, it keeps "killing" on her. All the bells and whistles go off, and the car kills. It is hard to start again, and when it finally does, it drives a few blocks and kills again.

She has taken this car to three places and no one can find anything wrong with the car.

I feel like I gave her a lemon, and I amembarrassed . I NEVER had any trouble with this car...and I have had it for YEARS!!

this smells like the ignition control module getting hot and shutting down.

Is she in town so you can go check for spark on the side of the road the next time it dies on her?
