How to drain out old fuel?

Trying car been sitting for 6 years Trying to drain out gas.

Hi,

You can do this in a couple of ways. First, you can disconnect the fuel supply at the fuel rail and allow the pump to empty the tank, or you can remove the tank, fuel pump, and then empty it there. Or you could do the same at the fuel filter, which needs to be replaced as well. See pic below.

There isn't a drain for the tank. Once it is empty, I would blow compressed air through the fuel lines and rail to clear out any old fuel.

The fuel filter is on the left side frame rail. See pic 1 below. It should be replaced.
