Good afternoon,

No oil leak?

Then you are burning the oil. The smell is most likely coming from the tail pipe.

Do you see any smoke out the exhaust while running?

It has an automatic shut off valve that is shutting it off before it blows.

Shut off valve? Please explain.

The only thing it can be doing is burning it if there is no external leak.

Shut off value. So before the vehicle comes in danger of blowing up the engine shuts off.

Normally with no oil engine would blow motor knocks etc. Instead mine shut off, cooled down. Put oil in it a run like a champ until oil disappears.

Where is this valve located?

Normally there is a fuel shut off switch but controls fuel flow, not oil control.

It does not matter anyway. If you have no leaks and you are using oil, you are burning. You should do a wet and dry compression test to see if the rings are bad.
