oil replacement

i used to use Mobile 5-30w for my car . replacement every 10.000 km ..(as per company instraction)
but..my useage is between 3000-4000km per one year.

should i replace the oil every year.Or every 10.000km.?

Do the service every year, with low km usage and probably a lot of short distance driving, the acids that build up in the oil that are the main concern for engine wear are not burnt off as the engine may not be running at full operating temp very often, so changing the oil and filter at the 12 month mark will be a better option than the 2 + years to do the 10K
