Hello,

The oil pressure sensor is located on the front of the engine. Mounted right next to the alternator.

I have attached the diagrams and the replacement procedure below for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Is there a second sensor? I am receiving the part today but have read that there may be a second one.

There is only one pressure sensor. However, there is also an oil pressure regulator valve/solenoid.
I have attached the diagrams for that below.

So, the battery was dead after sitting at an auto body shop for two months. I fixed the sensor. Then the car shut down. A million lights came on beforehand. AST, ESC, ACC, etc. so, I bought a new battery. Everything runs great but all the lights are still on. Thoughts?

Never mind. I knew after awhile that maybe the codes would go off. They did.
Thanks so much for the victory.

Well, this is embarrassing. I jumped the gun. Went for a drive All the codes went away. On the way home it went into limp mode again. Pulled over. Shut the car off and then started it. The engine light is on and I’m getting these codes again.
P06DD
P0560
Ugh! I'm starting to not like all these electronics.

The P06DD can get triggered due to having low oil, bad sensor or solenoid, it can also be due to internal engine failure.
I have attached the diagnostics procedure for the codes below. It goes over exactly what to look for to determine the issue.

Let me know of any questions.
