Oil pressure sensor

Hello,

The oil pressure sensor is located right next to the oil filter (see diagram below).
A faulty sensor can make the gauge move at a random rate or fluctuate.

Keep in mind that it is also possible to have a faulty gauge.

Does the pressure read high or low?
As you know there is always a possibility of inadequate oil pressure due to a weak pump.
