I have now added 3 quarts of oil within a 2-day period and my oil pressure light will not go off.

Hi,

Are you losing oil? You don't want it to be over full. Is there any ticking or knocking coming from the engine? If not, my first suspect would be the oil pressure switch is leaking which can cause the pressure to drop.

Tiffany, I would be happy to provide the location of the oil pressure sensor, but I need to know the engine size. It is either a 3.5L, 3.9L, or 5.3L engine. The sensors are at different locations. This vehicle never came with a 4-cylinder.

Here are two links you may find of interest and helpful:

Let me know. Also, let me know if you hear noise or if you are losing oil.

Take care,

Joe
