I changed intake and valve cover gaskets and changed oil because got water in oil washing motor. When put back together I had no oil pressure and I now hear motor noise and oil is full.

Hi,

That almost doesn't make sense. I have a question. Did you remove the distributor? For some reason, I am thinking there is an intermediate shaft between the distributor and oil pump, but if that was damaged, I wouldn't think it would be running.

Is it possible for you to record it and upload it so I can hear it run? Also, can you tell if the noise is coming from the front of the motor where the oil pump is located?

I attached a pic of the intermediate shaft. Also, confirm that this is the 3.8L V6.

Take care,
Joe
