Oil pressure

I changed oil and put in 15/40 acc the oil pressure went to 25 lbs at 3000 rpms and 10 at idle. But, shouldn't have to do this. There are no knocking or ticking noises and were non before I changed oil. I just put this motor in last week.

It looks like the oil pressure is within the specs for this engine. I have sent you the engine oil specs in the diagrams down below. I hope this helps and please feel free to ask should you have any other automotive related questions. That is what we are here for.
