Hello, after my dad helped me out and cleaned the fuse box which allowed my tachometer and speedometer to work again the cars oil light came on. Instinctively I checked the oil and it was full as we changed it around two weeks ago. Could it be the oil pump going bad on the car or could it be the wiring in the fuse box that is causing the problem?

Yes. But it is important to understand the warning light refers to oil pressure, not level. The place to start is by removing the oil pressure sending unit, then installing a mechanical pressure gauge in its place to see what the actual pressure is. If the pressure is okay, the sending unit is the best suspect.
