Hi my name is Melissa and my husband and I have a 2010 Ford fusion and the check oil light is on. Here's the kicker, we had the oil changed about a week ago. It comes on when you stop the car. Weird huh?

Ok thanks. The light comes on when it's idling and not moving. When it is driven it doesn't come on. Could that be the same thing as you stated earlier

no this may be the engine wearing out or a bad oil filter and low oil. try a different oil filter like a NAPA, wix or Purolator. but if mileage is at 920,000 i'd say it's probably the engine wearing out

ok well it may be bearing wear or an oil filter. try the ones I've suggested then add oil until it's full after you start it.
