oil light

my oil light was coming on so i had it diagnosed as the oil pressure switch. i had the switch replaced and the light is still coming on. what could the problem be?

What was the actual oil pressure when it was diagnosed? Either it is really low as the sending unit reported or the wire going to it is grounded out against something metal.
