Just gave the car a fresh oil change. Drained out all the oil but when complete long and checking the oil level I saw it was way too high (halfway up the dipstick). Now when accelerating the car the engine shakes profusely and a squeal can be heard from the front of the car. Doesn’t make the sound or shake when just rolling only when accelerating.

Hi,

Have you drained the over-filled portion of the oil? If it is half way up the stick, that needs attention. How many quarts did you put in the engine?

I attached a pic of the oil capacity. It indicates 4.8 quarts when the filter is replaced at the same time.

Let me know how much was installed and if you have other questions.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
