Hello,

There is a small leak near the radiator mount on the driver's side. It looks like oil, and it makes a small to medium size spot on the ground after sitting for serval hours.

There is some vibration in the engine when the car is idling in traffic, not sure if this contributes to this.

The radiator was changed earlier this year. No overheating issues at all, the leak seems to be intermittent. Maybe a seal that "shrinks" when the engine is cool, I guess.

Any advice would be a great help.

Thanks, Roosevelt.

Hi,

The first thing I suggest is to check if one of the transmission cooler lines is leaking. There is an inlet and outlet hose that attaches to the radiator. See pic below.

Check to see if there is anything wet where they attach and around that area.

Let me know what you find,

Take care,

Joe

Hello Joe,

The mechanic that installed the radiator noticed a leak from the transmission cooler lines. They were tightened and the leak has stopped for now. I do have some vibration in the motor when sitting in traffic, this may have caused this, but again everything is good now.

And they did not charge me for the service.

Thanks for your help.

Roosevelt.

I had a feeling that was where it was coming from. I'm glad it has been resolved. The rough idle can be several things. If it gets to a point where you want to look into it further, start a new thread and we will help as much as we can.

Take care of yourself.

Joe
