Found some red looking oil underneath my car was trying to figure out if it’s oil or transmission leak.

Hi,

If it is red, chances are it is transmission fluid. Motor oil is more of a golden tan color.

Where do you see it? In other words, is it close to the front of the vehicle, centered, rear of the vehicle, and so on?

If it is below the radiator area, there will be cooling lines connected to the radiator. Make sure the leak isn't coming from them. They are steel lines that have a quick connection on them. See pic below

Also, if it is possible, take a few pics of where you see it coming from and upload them for me to see.

Take care,

Joe
