Engine oil was showing a quarter past the indicator on the dip stick. So there was oil coming from the top of engine flowing to the back in between engine and transmission. At start up some white smoke is present and then clears after a minute or two it last about two minutes in cold weather. Just before the two minutes smoke is diminishing. Hope to hear your response.

Good afternoon,

White smoke is an indication of burning coolant. Are you using coolant?

As far as the oil leak, can you see the source of the leak at the front top of the motor?

Can you post some pictures of the area where it is leaking? Without me being there, it is impossible for me to pinpoint the leak.
