Coil? What coil. The only coil I can think of the ignition coil. Can you confirm.

We did not check the oil when we purchased the truck (which the repairman said was in perfect condition, he had done all the work on it)I bought it for my daughter. After one week it was a quart low. Spot on driveway about washtub size. I do not know if I should try to get my money back or if it is something simple.

You need to have someone else look at the truck and tell you the oil leak before getting excited.

Do not take it back to him. Take it another shop for a second opinion and an estimate. Let me know what they say and then we can chat some more about what to do.
