Why was the spark plug bore full of engine oil?

Hello, today I checked my engine, and the coil or spark plug bore was full of oil but i couldn't remove the spark plug because I don't have tools for it. My question is, why was the spark plug bore full of engine oil? Where does it leak?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a leaking valve cover gasket. When the spark plug tube seals go bad, it will allow oil to leak out and get on the spark plug hole.

To fix this you will have to replace the gasket.
