I have just been told by my mechanic that I have an oil leak. After checking, he says it is the rocker cover, which he has replaced. Is this bad for the future, or has he fixed it and I wont hear from it again? Thanks

It's the gasket that leaks. This is a common failure on any engine and is a fairly minor one. You're worrying needlessly about a repeat failure. If the leak has been solved, buzz off into the sunset with a smile on your face.
