I have a major oil leak coming from oil pan can I replace gasket without letting engine and a water leak coming from the underneath the water pump, so do I have to remove all those parts to get to water hose? It seems to be a project.

Hi,

Is it the oil that is leaking or the coolant? If it is the engine oil pan that needs to be removed, yes, it is somewhat of a job. I don't believe the coolant will need to be removed. However, to access the oil pan and remove it, the front lower cross member needs removed, and a section of the exhaust as well.

If you look below, I attached the directions for the removal and replacement of the oil pan. If this is what you needed, let me know if you need help or have questions. If that is not what is needed, let me know that as well.

Take care,

joe
