oil in egr ports in heads.

I bought this car lately it smokes on the right side ,so I pulled the intake off witch is an after market
and there is oil in the e.g.r port on that side , why ,and would this cause the smoking problem????
its a 454 don't know year of the motor

it can be a an internal problem like a broken piston or valve/head problem. you'll need to investigate further. look for a crack in eger port below intake as well
