I have the car listed above (SRi). Got oil in the coolant, had it for a long time. But the oil which has not been changed in over a year still looks good, no creamy gunge on oil cap or dipstick. Do I need a new head gasket or just flush the coolant?

There may be a problem at the head gasket or oil cooler if fitted, unless there is a major problem, often you can see this as the oil pressure is higher than the coolant pressure and you will get little or no coolant passing the other way. unless as i mentioned you have a major problem. a static coolant pressure test to see if coolant pressure drops can be a good place to start looking.
