My oil gauge reads 80, is this normal? I'm female and just trying to get informed. It's a great running vehicle. However, the heater doesn't heat, and the conditioner doesn't cool. But blowers seem to work well on both settings. I checked the coolant and it's fine.

Hello,

Does the oil pressure gauge always read at 80?
On this engine it should be anywhere from 37-75 PSI at 1,600 RPMs.
And 13 PSI at idle.

What are you experiencing? Are you just noticing that the pressure is high or is there an issue?

Here is a guide that talks about high oil pressure as it is slightly high.

Also, the heater issue is not going to be related. So we need to keep each post to one topic.

If you can get a new post started for the heat issue we will be happy to assist with that as well.

Here are things we would like to know on that post which will help progress it a little quicker.

Could be due to the engine not reaching the operating temperature for having a faulty thermostat, the blend door actuator stuck on the cool side etc.

Here is a guide that will help with this issue for when we get the new post started.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
