Having difficulties removing the oil filter on my Toyota Venza. I have the required tools but I cannot get it to turn. I drained the oil from the filter, followed all steps. Even broke the ratchet wrench to no avail. Why? The Toyota dealership have been changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles and I decided to do it myself. The car was warmed up before I started process.

These filters tends to get stuck tight and not easy to loosen with normal filter wrenches at times. You need to get a better wrench for this. Try a sliding handle instead of a ratchet handle which is not strong enough.
