The drain plug somehow came out right after the oil change. The car was driven 2 miles and shut off. I replaced the plug and put new oil back in. Is the engine ruined or is there any way I can get it to work for about the next two weeks until I can afford a new engine so I can get back and forth to work?

Good afternoon,

Does the engine turn?

If it does, will it start?

If it does not, then no, you need the engine replaced now.

Can you send me a video of the engine when you try to start it?

Thanks. It sounds like the main bearings are locked up.

No way to get any more time out of it.

You need to replace the entire engine.

Do you have a lift, engine crane and all the tools to replace the engine?

Okay, then he/she should know what to do.

I would look for a good used motor. That would keep the cost down for you.
