i noticed some oil in a puddle and found the oil dipstick tube broken where it enters the oil pan. lacking a hoist, is there a procedure i should follow?
does the radiator come out to facilitate this?

the guy that changed radiators didn't secure the dipstick and
I'm not sure what size bolt ties the tube to a spot on the underside of the intake manifold.

It helps to have a lift, but it is not mandatory, here is a guide to help you raise the car up safely:

Usually, the bolt size will be a 10mm. If it would make the job easier, I would remove the radiator. Please upload an image of the problem so I can help. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

turns out having a lift did make it easier. a guy was able to get the oil dipstick tube stub out of the oil pan without removing the radiator. i never could have done it myself laying on my back working one handed. Thank you, Ken, for the suggestion.
