No. The lines are there because the oil in those vehicles tends to run hot because of the poor airflow. So they get the oil cooler to help. Eliminating them can raise the temperatures in the oil which can cause it to break down faster.

I agree with Steve.
If you have an issue with the one in the radiator, you can add one externally to keep the temperature down.
