While driving there is an intermittent oil burning smell coming from the air vents?

When driving occasionally out the air vents is a terrible burning smell of oil, what can this be?

Good morning,

The leak could be coming from so many different places and could be different oils.

You need to have someone power wash the motor down and get rid of all dirt and oils n the motor. Then the motor needs to be run for a day or two and the source of the leak determined. Once that is done then the next step is a price on the repair.

In the meantime, make sure you keep the levels up, so you do not damage any components.
