Burning oil?

Just a heads up, the mileage of my car is in Km. This car burns through oil like it has stock in Castor Oil or something. The dealership said the engine would have to be taken completely apart to find out what's wrong. At that time, it was going through about 3/4 of a liter of oil every two weeks and I was putting on a lot more mileage. The burning has gotten worse, to the tune of about 3/4 liter every 400-500 KM. My question is - is it worth it with this many Km to spend $1000's of dollars rebuilding/replacing the engine? It is now clogging up by catalytic converter.

Lol That's a good one. If the car is in good condition, then yes, I would install a rebuilt/used engine. It sounds like you have a broken or missing piston oil control ring. But let's do a test, with the engine running remove the oil fill cap to see what happens. If you make a short video of what happens when the oil cap is removed, I can tell what's going on.
